Gold Key: Market Entry Services from the U.S. Department of Commerce

This year, Global Delaware and the U.S. Department of Commerce are partnering to offer Gold Key Services as part of the STEP Program. Now Delaware businesses can utilize Gold Key Services and the costs may be funded by the Delaware STEP Grant.

What are Gold Key Services?

The U.S. Commercial Service Gold Key Service provides U.S. firms traveling to a foreign market with up to five pre-screened appointments to establish relationships with potential overseas agents, distributors, sales representatives, business partners and other local entities in-country.

International Trade Specialists at the U.S. Commercial Service work with counterparts in the 135 U.S. Embassies and Consulates overseas to provide access to resources designed to assist businesses in their global sales efforts.

Funds available to help offset the cost

The Delaware STEP Grant will fund the Gold Key Service of up to 7 Delaware businesses this year and STEP funds may be available to cover up to 50% eligible travel expenses related to a Gold Key business trip.
