George Chambers identifies himself as a “solar power ‘peddler’” in a recent interview with Delmarva Now. However, Chambers is much more than that—the 70-year-old businessman is the driving force behind Lewes-based Solar Unlimited, a provider of solar-powered energy systems.
The firm just landed five new contracts in Mexico in the wake of a recent trade mission with our Export Advisor Beth Pomper.
Solar Unlimited projects $1 million in sales of solar water heating systems to five hospitals in Mexico—one of which is the largest in the region.
Chambers isn’t the only success story from the mission: All five participants reported solid leads from the trip, and the delegation’s projected sales are estimated in the millions over the next 12 months.
