Global Delaware actively seeks to showcase investment opportunities in Delaware to the international audience. Over the past few months, staff has worked to develop a relationship with the Bank of China and the China General Chamber of Commerce in the USA. Through this relationship, we have been presented with an incredible opportunity to showcase Delaware businesses to over 40 qualified Chinese business partners and investors at the Sino-US SME Forum in New York City on September 28, 2015. Delaware is one of only a few states who have been invited to participate.
Chinese investment into the U.S. totaled nearly $50 billion in 2014 and could reach $200 billion by the end of the decade. This is the opportunity for your Delaware business to get a share of this. If you participate, you will get to meet one-on-one with the Chinese companies to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
When: September 28, 2015, 8:30am – 6:30pm (networking lunch and dinner included)
Where: New York City
This event attracts businesses from key areas of agriculture, food processing, technology, manufacturing, healthcare and renewable energy. If you currently export products with SIC codes starting with: 20, 357, 737, 283, 384, 951, 369 your Chinese counterparts will be present at this event.
After some initial pre-qualification discussions, the Bank of China will be setting up one-on-one partnering meetings between US and Chinese companies. Professional translation services and free consulting will be provided. There is no cost to participate for qualifying companies from Delaware.
If we get good sized group of qualified Delaware companies who are interested, Global Delaware will charter a bus and escort the group up to NYC for this event. If you are interested in participating, please let us know by Thursday July 9th! Contact us if you have any questions.
