An export plan for the Greater Philadelphia Region (this includes Delaware!)
4/11/2016
Last year business leaders and economic development experts from southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and northern Delaware, including the Global Delaware Export Team, the Economy League and the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia formed a task force to develop an action-oriented export plan for the region.
This blueprint for export-led growth was created with support from the Global Cities Initiative, a joint project of the Brookings Institute and JPMorgan Chase. The initiative assists metropolitan areas to develop international trade and foreign investment plans.
The export plan is projected to create 35,000 jobs and extraordinary revenue growth in the region in the coming years.
How you benefit:
The new export plan will be announced on April 13. Regional leaders will discuss how it will drive much-needed job and revenue growth in our region.
